Brendan Mathieu – Senior Project: Making a Travel Documentary

This is actually a post from yesterday I forgot to write. It’s a pretty short one but I did some fun stuff that turned out really good in the end. Let’s Jump right in…

Once again my voice was about to die meaning I did not get my voice over done. Even if it wasn’t though it would have been impossible to find a quiet room to record in because it was the day of the 1920s museum. On top of that I’m finding out today that I forgot my micro USB cord that I thought I had with me and not a single person carries those around it seems. So my voice over is not done and I have kind of accepted that my whole documentary is not going to get finished by next week but I will still get it done shortly after. It always takes longer than expected to edit it seems.

I have made a couple advancements to what I have though, and found out how to animate a flight path which was time consuming but turned out really cool. I do still want to meet with Brian to show him what I have so far and hope to do that tomorrow if his schedule is open. Tomorrow is the day where I’m going to spend all day working on this because I need to get this at least a little closer to finished. However, what I have so far (minus the voiceover) has shaped up to be really good and I think is still sufficient evidence that I have learned a lot about content creation and editing. So while I am bummed that it’s probably not going to get done within the next 2 days, I am still really proud of what I’ve done this year.
