Brendan Mathieu – Senior Project: Making a Travel Documentary

So, I did not get as much done as I wanted today mostly because my allergies hit me like a truck today and I sounded stuffy the whole day. Let’s jump right in…

The problem with not getting my voice over done today is I feel like I can’t continue editing until I have it. It’s easier to edit around the voiceover than to try to cut and shape it around the clips I edit. Even if I were to edit everything in a section, when I later put the voiceover in, I will have to shorten or lengthen clips so that it times well with my voice.

So what did I do today other than complain. Not much really. I am almost done editing probably the biggest section in my documentary however I will need to mend it around the voiceover tomorrow. I seriously need to get the voiceover done tomorrow if I want any chance to finish this in time and still have a meeting with my mentor. The dream is still alive… I just have to keep following the metaphorical rainbow to reach the pot of gold at the end.
