Today, I finally start editing. And even though there were some hiccups, it’s definitely coming along. This post was meant to go out yesterday (So if any of the language doesn’t make sense to the date that’s why) so let’s jump right in…
Today was a bit of a problem solving day for a few reasons. I had to find a way to edit my intro without using footage from myself. I eventually stumbled upon a stock footage website called “Motion Array” for a few reasons. One was the cost of the website. Still nowhere near what I would have liked to pay, for $30 a month you get as many downloads as you want on the site. This is different from other websites I looked at, where you either had to pay per video you got, or pay annually for the service for like $200. I’m not going to need stock footage after this project, so WHY WOULD I WANT THAT. I also like Motion Array because it has plugins I can put into my editing software and some of them are actually pretty cool.
I also started editing (finally). I got pretty much all of the intro edited minus the voiceover because I still don’t have that recorded. I now need to work on the sort of “trailer” part with the music and fast clips in the background. I have a scope of what I’m doing for it and hope to get it done tomorrow. Then I need to record my VO because I really can’t do too much without that. But that’s for future me (which is actually today me because I forgot to press upload), see you then (now).
